Tadoba is well joined by road with Nagpur and Chandrapur. You can fly to Nagpur and then get a cab to travel the remaining distance to the hotel. While Kolara Gate may be reached in about 2.5 hours, Moharli Gate is almost a 3.5 hour's drive from the airport. The closest city to Tadoba National Park, where the closest railhead is situated, is Chandrapur. Less than an hour is needed to get from Chandrapur Railway Station to Moharli.
Entry To The Tadoba
The national park has 12 gates and all are not near each other. Some of those gates are 100 km apart from each other and that is why it is important to pick the correct gate to enter the park.

Safari Booking For Tadoba National Park
Online reservations for Tadoba's open jeep safari can be made through the Maharashtra Forest Department website. The tiger reserve only permits a certain number of automobiles. Before booking your hotel, be sure to reserve your entrance tickets.
There isn't any way to visit the forest if you don't have safari permits. Online safari reservations open 120 days in advance and close 4 days before the admission date. What to Wear?
To avoid becoming scalded by Tadoba's intense heat, dress comfortably in cotton or linen. Concrete roads and dirt trails can be found inside the forest. So, it is preferable to wear long sleeves in order to stay out of the sun and dust.
Moreover, if you are traveling during the winter, bring some lightweight wool clothing (November to February). They might come in handy for the morning safari.
The color of your clothing is important when packing for a jungle expedition. Don't dress in garish colors or patterns.
